Appointments & Scheduling

How do I schedule an appointment?

You can schedule by calling our office at (706) 320-2547 during business hours (Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM). New patients can also request an appointment using the contact form on our website.

What are your office hours?

Our office is open Monday through Thursday, 8 AM to 5 PM and Friday, 8 AM - 12 PM. Hours may vary on holidays, so please call ahead to confirm.

How do I cancel or reschedule my appointment?

Please call us at least 24 hours before your appointment to cancel or reschedule without a late fee.

Can I still come to my appointment if I have my period?

Having your period does not affect most appointments, including routine exams and ultrasounds, so there’s no need to cancel or reschedule.

If you are scheduled for a Pap smear and are bleeding heavily, this may affect the accuracy of the test. In that case, please call us to reschedule your appointment. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out and we’ll be happy to guide you.

Insurance & Billing

What insurance do you accept?

We accept most commercial insurances, GA Medicare, and Managed Medicare. We recommend checking with your insurance company before your visit to confirm your specific plan’s coverage.

New Patients

What should I bring to my first visit?

Please bring a photo ID, your insurance card, and a list of any medications you’re currently taking.

You do not need to bring a referral, as these are typically sent directly to our office and added to your chart ahead of your visit.

Medical records are not required for most patients. However, if you are an OB patient who has received prenatal care elsewhere, we must have your prior OB records before your first appointment. If these records have not been received, you may be asked to reschedule.

There’s no need to complete paperwork in advance, our team handles everything with you over the phone, and you’ll only review a brief form once a year at check-in.

Are you accepting new patients?

Yes! Midtown OBGYN is accepting new patients at both of our Columbus locations.

Call us at (706) 320-2547 or use our online scheduler to book your first visit.
